The Reinhardt Home: 2265 Abington Road

Home Story:

Built in 1937, the Reinhardt Family’s home is a testament to timeless architecture infused with modern updates. Purchased in 2019, Callie Reinhardt and her family embraced a complete renovation, finishing in 2024, that transformed the first floor, primary suite, and basement alongside their kitchen.

The kitchen itself is a masterclass in craftsmanship. NewHaven cabinetry defines the perimeter and bar areas, while Scott Kemmerling cabinets bring custom detail to the island. Quartz countertops by Impact add understated luxury, and striking fixtures from Urban Electric, Visual Comfort, and Hudson Valley provide layers of light.

While greens dominate the floral and décor choices, the kitchen’s style blends crisp modern finishes with a sense of history. Expansive updates create better flow, making the home feel both spacious and connected. A refreshed palette compliments original architectural details, bridging old and new with care.

For the Reinhardts, the kitchen is more than a place to prepare meals — it’s the hub of daily life and entertainment. The remodel provides flexibility for family routines while offering the sophistication needed for gatherings. This home captures the essence of preservation and renewal, inviting tour guests to enjoy its balance of tradition and modernity.
